Pork Tenderloin with Honey and Mustard

This recipe is mouthwatering if you love pork! It’s super easy to make, incredibly juicy, and packed with flavor. A quick and delicious dinner that everyone will love!

Tenderloin, as the name suggests, is incredibly tender and delicious. It’s the perfect cut for this dish because it really soaks up all the flavors of the sauce. The sauce gives the tenderloin a creamy texture and a rich, aromatic flavor that will have you coming back for more

Ingredients required (for 2 people)

To prepare this dish, you will need:

  • 1 Pork tenderloin
  • 3 tbsp of Olive oil
  • 2 or 3 gloves of garlic, finely Grated
  • 1/2 tbsp of Paprika
  • 1 tsp of Mustard
  • 1 tsp of Honey
  • Black pepper (as you prefer)
  • Nutmeg (just a little touch)
  • Salt

Preparation steps:

Step 1: In a bowl, mix together the mustard, honey, grated garlic, black pepper, paprika, nutmeg, and olive oil.
Step 2: Place the pork tenderloin in a baking dish, give it a few cuts so the flavour can get inside (but don’t overdo it), and then season it with salt and pour the honey mustard sauce over it. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour.
Step 3: After 1 hour, preheat your oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
Step 4: Then let it bake for about 1 hour until beautifully golden.

My Own Touch:

If you’re in a rush, marinating the tenderloin for 1 hour will do. However, you should marinate for about 2 hours to get the best flavor and tenderness. Just keep in mind that marinating makes the meat extra flavorful and tender, so it’s worth it if you can wait!

Serve it with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables (I prefer this since I am going to use the oven anyway).

NOTE: Since I love spicy food, I usually add chilli flakes for a little punch, and it matches perfectly since the sauce is a little sweet.
